Mark Harrell turns professional and signs with 4U Management, LLC

Mark Harrell turned professional today with his signing of a representation agreement with 4U Management, LLC in Orlando, Florida. Harrell is the 20th ranked amateur player in the USA and 49th ranked amateur in the world according to this week’s GOLFWEEK World Amateur Rankings.

Harrell ended an impressive 4 year career at the University of Alabama in June. He was instrumental in the Crimson Tide’s first-ever number 1 ranking in the nation for 2006-2007. The Tide again was ranked number 1 in the nation most of 2007-2008 and won their first Southeastern Conference Championship in 29 years when Mark fired a bogey-free 56 in the final round in the SEC Championship. Two weeks ago, Harrell finished tied for 6th in the prestigious Southern Amateur. It was his third consecutive top 10 in this event.

“We are thrilled to have Mark Harrell join us at 4U Management, which includes professional golfers Lee Janzen, Ben Crane, Jason Allred and Martin Ureta. Mark is a tremendous person with a bright future,” commented Tommy Limbaugh, President of 4U Management.

“I am excited and thrilled to be a part of 4U Management family and look forward to a long relationship full of success,” said Mark Harrell.

Harrell will begin his professional career at the Dothan Classic on the Hooters Tour August 11, 2008.
