Zach Sucher fires 65 at Hooter's Tour

The Hooter's Winter Tour Series in near Orlando, Florida this week. The event is being held November 17-19 at Stonybrook East. 4U client Zach Sucher fired an opening round 65 yesterday after he birdied all 4 par 5's.

Jason Allred in Second Stage of PGA TOUR

The road to the finals of Q School intensifies this week, as a host of former PGA TOUR winners grind it out at 6 sites around the country. A total of 34 players with a combined 57 PGA TOUR victories including one major champion (Shaun Micheel) are entered in the second stage of the PGA TOUR National Qualifying Tournament. Also entered is 4U Management client Jason Allred. Jason lost is card at the end of the 2008 season. He will be competing at the Deerwood Golf Club in McKinney, Texas beginning this morning.

A pre-determined number of players, generally in the low to mid-twenties, from each of the 6 sites will advance to the final stage at Bear Lakes in West Palm Beach, Florida. The 108 hole finale will be played December 2-7.

Only the low 25 players and ties at the finals will earn TOUR cards for the 2010 season. The rest will have some degree of status on the Nationwide Tour.

Second Qualifying Stage European PGA Tour

Martin Ureta will be competing in this week's second stage of the European PGA Tour Qualifying School. The second stage is being held at 4 sites in Spain November 20-23. Martin, a 4U Management client will be teeing it up in Jerez, Spain Friday at Arcos Gardens. The finals will also be held in Spain at PGA Golf de Catalunya November 28-December 3.
