An American has won The Open 10 of the past 14 years. Turnberry is sort-of like Scottland's version of Pebble Beach. 1994 was the last time a Championship was hosted at this great course, at which time Nick Price won the Claret Jug. Price won in 1994, Greg Norman in 1986 and Tom Watson in 1977 in a duel with Jack Nicklaus.
